Overview

Last week we began to unpacking learning goals (aka standards) in our respective disciplines. Tonight, we'll talk about why it is important to address students' prior knowledge, continue unpacking our learning goals, and prepare to plan a lesson where you introduce new concepts.

• Describe the components of a lesson plan.
• Unpack a learning goal.
